Junior Bowls

Moama Bowling Club is an active supporter of junior bowls in the greater community. We are proud to be the major sponsor of the CVBD based Campaspe Cannons which is a development squad for under 18 bowlers in the Echuca Moama area.

There are several highly qualified junior coaches at Moama Bowling Club and there is opportunity for all juniors to be coached (free of charge) at the club. The Greens staff are highly trained and qualified to assist all bowlers, including those under 18.

Junior Membership

All juniors are encouraged to visit our facilities and enjoy the game of lawn bowls. Moama Bowling Club annual junior membership is just $10 which includes many opportunities for travel and progression in the game, as well as access to resources to support their growth and development.

Campaspe Cannons

The Campaspe Cannons encourage all bowlers under 18 (all levels of ability) join in their weekly coaching sessions. Information about this development squad and how to get involved can be found on their Facebook page.

School Challenge

Every year Moama Bowling Club hosts the School Challenge to give local Secondary aged Students a chance to compete against their peers. Schools from all of the Region will descend upon the club for a one day event.  In 2019 the event will take place on Wednesday 13th November with all Schools encouraged to enter a team and compete to be winners on the day. More information will be posted soon.

SSV Division Finals

Moama Bowling Club hosted the most recent installment of the School Sports Victoria Division Finals with the winning teams moving on to play against the best Primary school teams from around Victoria to crown a state champion. This will become an annual event and we encourage all schools to join in as the juniors always have a great time and learn lots of new skills.

The 2019 installment of the Campaspe Finals was held in February at Moama Bowling Club. On Thursday 28th February over 70 students from around the area competed for a spot in the state finals. This year Tongala Public School were the overall winners of the event. We look forward to the event being bigger and better in February 2020.
