Do you cater for allergies?

Moama Bowling Club offers a wide variety of food options to accommodate all allergies, intolerances and restrictions. Please notify one of our friendly staff members of your individual needs and we will happily accommodate your requirements.

What type of the food does The Café offer?

The Café offers a tasty selection of freshly made sandwiches, sausage rolls, pies, muffins, croissants, quiche, toasties, wraps, pizzas, salads, homemade cakes & slices, biscuits and doughnuts.

We also offer delicious hot and cold beverages including coffee, tea, hot chocolate, milkshakes, thickshakes, iced coffees and juices.

Is The Café close to the Kids' Kave?

The Café sits adjacent to the Kids’ Kave, offering peace of mind that your little people are close by, and having the time of their lives, while you savour some rare time out.

Where is Frinkle located?

Frinkle is located in The Bistro, just off the dining area.

What family-friendly facilities are available?

The Bistro provides customers with highchairs and parents change rooms for their convenience. The Moama Bowling Club is also a breast-feeding friendly environment.

Do I need to book at The Greens?

Guests are welcome to roll up and play bowls anytime, subject to rink availability, however bookings are encouraged for those wishing to bowl and dine.

Can I bring a picnic when playing bowls?

No BYO food or alcohol, however food can be purchased from the Club House and undercover BBQ area.

Takeaway food can also be purchased from The Café and taken into the BBQ area.

What age do I have to be to bowl?

Barefoot bowling at MBC is open to all ages.

Are there undercover facilities?

Yes! There’s no need to worry about the weather. Our state-of-the-art facilities at The Greens are fully undercover so you can enjoy year round entertainment.

I’ve never played/I require some assistance.

No problem! The bowls department or one of our club’s qualified coaches will be on hand to help throughout your bowling experience – free of charge.

Are meals and drinks available?

Our world-class facility – The Greens – comprises three separate entertaining areas (both indoor and outdoor) and a fully licensed sports bar and TAB area. Grab a drink from the bar, kick back with music and lights under our spectacular free spanning roof, and enjoy a delicious selection of nibbles as you chase that little yellow kitty across the green.

Feel free to make use of The Bistro and The Café, or request your very own private BBQ in The Greens state-of-the-art BBQ areas (BBQ requires minimum of 20 people).

How much does it cost to play?

Only $10 per person, per bowls session. This covers the following:

  • bowls hire
  • green hire
  • lights
  • fully-trained bowls staff to assist

Please note that food packages incur additional charges.

How much does it cost to be a MBC member?

It only costs $5!

What does a MBC Membership entitle me to?

How do I become a member?

If you would like to join our amazing membership program simply ask one of our friendly Customer Service representatives the next time you visit our club and they will guide you through the easy application process.

How do I renew my membership?

You can renew your Moama Bowling Club membership by downloading a printable copy of the Renewal form for 2019 here and our friendly staff will help you renew at the club.

What is Elements?

Elements is Moama Bowling Club’s Reward Program, designed to reward all MBC members.

Elements reward points are earned every time you use your membership card within Moama Bowling Club. *Please note you must present your membership card at the point of sale to earn points.

What can I use my membership points for?

Elements reward points can be used to make purchases throughout the club including food, beverages, gift shop and merchandise. You can also use points to purchase Caltex, Wish, Coles Myer and Betta Electrical gift cards. Please contact Customer Service if you wish to purchase a gift card or product from another retailer.

Events FAQs

What happens when we are having wedding photographs?

Your guests are free to arrive while you are away having photographs taken, and can spend that time enjoying the full range of our entertainment and refreshments.

Do you have technical facilities available?

Our club offers all you need in audio-visual equipment for presentations, public speaking and theatrical performances.

Are the function spaces flexible in layout?

Moama Bowling Club features seven separate rooms which can hold between 15 and 450 people, depending on configuration. Our major conference room, The Venue, can hold up to 400 people theatre-style.
Together with the Sports Lounge, Parquetry Room, Sports Terrace and Board Room, the club offers enormous flexibility in rooms and break-out areas, both large and small.
All spaces are heated and air-conditioned and can be configured in various formats to suit your individual requirements.
Most areas are serviced by a conveniently located bar. Tea and coffee stations can also be set up where required.

Kids Kave FAQs

What's in the Kave?

The room features supervised craft, games, movies, reading, Nintendo, Xbox and an indoor play area.

Does the Kids Kave have age restrictions?

The Kids’ Kave is open to children aged five years and above.

How does the Kids' Kave work?

Parents are required to sign their children in and out of the Kids’ Kave, and our little guests are permitted to play in the room for a maximum of two hours. To guarantee a spot for your child or children in our Kids’ Kave please book ahead, especially on busier nights. (The maximum number of children allowed in the Kids’ Kave at any given time is 20.)      

General FAQs

Is parking available and easily accessible?

We have more than 400 parking spaces, all close to club entry points.

Where can I hold an event outside?

You can’t go past The Greens if you are looking for an outdoor event! 
Enjoy fun and fitness in the fresh air and a little bit of friendly competition as you test your skills at bowls. Guests may also choose one of our delicious barbecue packages to enjoy in our fully-licensed undercover BBQ area overlooking the four greens. It’s the ideal space for groups wanting to meet up in a relaxed and social setting. Seating capacity in each of our BBQ areas is for up to 80 guests. Gas heaters and fans ensure optimum comfort in all weather conditions.

Where are you located?

For visitors to town we’re easy to find – on the Moama side of the Echuca Moama bridge across the Murray River.

Can you assist with transport?

Guests or delegates requiring transport are invited to use our courtesy shuttle.

What accommodation is available nearby?

For guests requiring accommodation, we offer a number of local options only a few minutes walk away. Seven motels and numerous villas with over 250 rooms, rated from three to five stars, are also located minutes from our doors. Another 10 motels, with a total of 300 rooms, are situated within a further three kilometres.

Can I make an advanced booking for the Courtesy Shuttle?

What if I want to make a booking for the Courtesy Shuttle within 4 hours or less?

Can we travel with children on the Courtesy Shuttle?

Children under 4 years of age are not permitted to travel on the shuttle. 

Children aged 4, 5 and 6 will require a booster seat (provided by Moama Bowling Club). Please request when booking.

What areas does the Courtesy Shuttle service?

Moama Bowling Club offers a courtesy shuttle service for the transport of members and guests within a 5km radius to and from the club.

What is ClubGRANTS?

ClubGRANTS was introduced in 1998, by the NSW Government and allows clubs to claim a tax deduction on gaming machine revenue over $1 million for money spent on community support. Find out more at our Community page.

Is there a dress code?

The aim of Moama Bowling Club’s dress regulations is to maintain a high standard of neat casual dress at all times. The club may object to any particular dress, including if some items of clothing are too casual or inappropriate, and the decision by Customer Service is final.

The following dress regulations are a directive of the board:

  • no ugg boots, moccasins or bare feet
  • no short or tight shorts or bike shorts
  • no football style shorts or swimwear
  • no offensive or obscene writing on clothing
  • no dirty or badly worn footwear
  • no, damaged or dirty clothing
  • no hats to be worn inside the club
Do I have to be a member to go to Moama Bowling Club?

No, anyone is welcome to Moama Bowling Club. Non-members will need to sign in at the Reception desk upon arrival.
