Maurie Evans & Penny Stratford
Functions & Events Administrator; Functions & Events Coordinator
Maurie is responsible for the performance and management of administrative operation structures within our functions and event space. He has extensive club experience and is a highly respected staff member. Maurie has worked at MBC for 24 years and has held his current role for more than a decade.
Penny is responsible for the coordination of all functions and events within the club. Penny has recently joined the Moama Bowling Club Team after relocating from Melbourne. She started work in the Hospitality industry as a teenager, trained as a chef, lectured at Tafe and has worked in some of Melbourne’s most unique venues. Please contact her to organise your next special occasion.
Moama Bowling Club features seven separate rooms which can hold between 15 and 450 people, depending on configuration. Our major conference room, The Venue, can hold up to 400 people theatre-style.
Together with the Parquetry Room and Board Room, the club offers enormous flexibility in rooms and break-out areas, both large and small.
All spaces are heated and air-conditioned and can be configured in various formats to suit your individual requirements.
Most areas are serviced by a conveniently located bar and tea and coffee stations can be set up where required.
