A commitment to our community

Since 1928

Since Moama Bowling Club was founded in 1928,
people from Echuca Moama and beyond have gathered here.

They’ve journeyed to our nationally-renowned greens for a game of bowls, in our restaurants and bars to enjoy a meal with friends and family and to celebrate birthdays and anniversaries. More than a world-class sporting and entertainment destination, we’re a place that brings people together.

Beyond the club, we’re working to cultivate a sense of belonging and connection in the community we call home, too. We partner with more than 80+ groups and organisations in The Murray region, providing both hands-on and financial support, and we’re always finding new ways to help our community thrive.

Our Community

Community is the beating heart of Moama Bowling Club. We’re passionate about driving positive change for the people of Echuca Moama, promoting a culture of diversity and inclusion.

We’re continually inspired by the selfless efforts of those behind the many groups and organisations we support, working in tourism, sports, arts, culture, youth engagement and disability support to make Echuca Moama a place where everyone feels welcome.

Today, tomorrow, and long into the future, nothing is more important to us at Moama Bowling Club than giving back to the community in which we live.

Sustainability

We recognise that, in order for our community to thrive, so too must our environment, which is why we’re fostering a culture of environmental responsibility to pave the way to a more sustainable future for Echuca Moama. Just a few of the green initiatives we’ve implemented at Moama Bowling Club include adopting renewable energy resources through the installation of solar panels; conserving water through eco-friendly landscaping; and are prioritising sourcing our food from local suppliers dedicated to sustainable practices. As leaders in the community, we believe we have an important role to play in safeguarding the natural beauty of Echuca Moama.
